Build a ServerFrequently asked questions
Is used PC hardware from RecomputeBD actually reliable?
Yes. Every part is bench-tested (CPUs and GPUs undergo a 48-hour burn-in) before it's graded and listed, and each listing carries a stated warranty period, typically 30-90 days.
What does the A+ to C condition grade mean?
A+ is like-new with a full diagnostic pass. A is excellent with light cosmetic wear only. B is good, with visible wear but full function. C is a budget pick with heavier cosmetic wear that still passes the full function test.
Will the PC Builder let me pick incompatible parts?
No. It only ever shows motherboards matching your CPU socket, RAM matching your motherboard, and flags PSU wattage against your estimated draw — an incompatible combination can't be selected.
Do you sell server hardware too, not just desktop parts?
Yes — datacenter-pulled server CPUs, ECC RAM, RAID/HBA controllers, network cards, rack chassis, and complete rack servers, alongside standard desktop PC components.
